Since debuting at the end of last year, French sensation LÉO has released four singles, the most recent being “Warm.” The budding singer-songwriter now closes out the year with her self-titled debut EP, LEO. The six-track EP includes the fan-favorites, but also features two never-before-heard songs. LÉO’s soothing vocals shine on the ethereal, soulful Folk jams.

The EP kicks off with “What You Do.” The track is a heartfelt record that tackles self-worth and seeing people for who they really are. Track two, “Nowhere To Go,” continues with the emotive soundscape. The song has a cinematic vibe and embodies LÉO’s distinctive Soul-Folk sound. It is the first of the never-before-released songs. The EP then turns to “You & Me.” “You & Me” has a more traditional Folk sound. The song has palpable lyrics and a raw, soul-stirring bridge and chorus.

Track four, “Farmer’s Daughter,” continues the sonic journey. The title of the song is apropos given the EP’s cover artwork. The song has a poignant, nostalgic feel with bluesy flair. “Warm” continues the theme of reminiscing, but has a breezier sound, which is enhanced by LÉO’s sultry voice. “It’s a silky ballad made to feel warm and make the summer last longer,” LÉO states. The closer, “Sunday Morning,” perfectly brings the track’s title to life. The serene, captivating record provides listeners with tranquility, serving as the optimal finale for an immaculate project.
