Budding Alt-Rock band Valvet release their debut EP/second project, Mirrors & Ecstasy. The four-track EP features a fan-favorite song, “Mountains,” and three never-before-heard jams. The dynamic project showcases the Swedish group’s captivating sound and immense artistry.
Mirrors & Ecstasy is a poignant yet soothing body of work. It weaves through emotive songs, such as “Mountains,” and thought-provoking, more up-tempo tracks like “Giving it Up.” “This extended play shows the great range and simultaneous cohesiveness of the band members individually, exploring themes of conflict, lingering fear and helplessness, showing vulnerability in yourself covered by a wall of harmonies,” Valvet explain.
Mirrors & Ecstasy is Valvet’s inaugural project with Rexius Records. The EP serves as a taste of what’s to come. Put Mirrors & Ecstasy on a loop while waiting for Valvet’s next masterpiece.
