GRAMMY-nominated ensemble Dallas String Quartet are back with a new album, Gratitude. The faith-based LP is the group’s first project since 2024. Gratitude features six instrumentals and one song that features angelic vocals from renowned quartet Sons of Serendip.
Gratitude kicks off with the title track, “Gratitude,” and closes with the title track, “Gratitude.” The closer is the only song with vocals, and it features the Sons of Serendip. The album does an amazing job at evoking powerful emotions and professing palpable messages through instruments alone. The songs on Gratitude are emotive reimagined instrumental versions of iconic Christian anthems. “Gratitude is exactly what its title suggests – a heartfelt offering.” Dallas String Quartet continue, “Many of these songs have been part of our lives for years – songs that have carried us through different seasons and remind us to simply say thank you to God.”
Gratitude is a cohesive, serene listening experience that allows each of the quartet’s members to shine (Melissa Priller (violin), Valory Hight (violin), Ion Zanca (viola), and Young Heo (bass)). Press play and be grateful to listen to the masterpiece that is Gratitude.
