Jazz vocalist and songwriter Connie Lansberg teams up with legendary guitarist Brad Rabuchin for a new album, Aeroplane. The dynamic duo previously released the title track, “Aeroplane.” The LP features seven original songs and one Pop cover song. Connie Lansberg’s angelic voice pairs perfectly with Brad Rabuchin’s soothing strumming.
Aeroplane is a stripped-back project. Its minimalist soundscape is its charm. It allows Connie Lansberg’s polished vocals to shine. It also allows the lyrics to be wholly heard and digested. Brad Rabuchin’s acoustic guitar playing is tuneful, especially on songs like “The Way to You.”
Aeroplane was recorded at renowned trumpeter Nolan Shaheed’s studio. Connie Lansberg and Brad Rabuchin had instant chemistry. “We walked into the studio and the magic happened,” Connie Lansberg states. The immaculate sound produced has fans yearning for more from the pair. Aeroplane surely won’t be the duo’s last release to take flight.
