Pop singer-songwriter Kelsie Kimberlin has had a busy 2025, to say the least. The budding songstress has released a whopping thirty-five singles this year. Four of the songs were accompanied by music videos. Her latest music video, “Sucker,” has accumulated more than half a million views so far.

“Sucker” is an Alt-Pop record that allows Kelsie Kimberlin’s polished, emotive vocals to shine. The empowering song dives into toxic relationships, and the guilt felt for staying and putting everything into the relationship. It is a self-love anthem. “This song is not only autobiographical, but about so many girls that I have known who have been taken advantage of by boys who simply strung them along.” Kelsie Kimberlin continues: “When girls don’t have the confidence to reject such mistreatment, the relationship becomes toxic and breaks down. I want girls to recognize when they are being suckered, so they can run for the nearest door.”

The music video for “Sucker,” shot in Kyiv, Ukraine during breaks from the filming of her full-length movie, depicts various scenes within a room with musical instruments and music-related posters. The playing of the different instruments is allegorical. “I pick up and play many musical instruments as a metaphor for trying different ways of extricating myself from the toxic relationship,” Kelsie Kimberlin states.

Although “Sucker” is Kelsie Kimberlin’s latest visual, it is not even close to her latest single. The soon-to-be household name has impressively released twenty-one songs since “Sucker.” So, after listening/watching “Sucker,” don’t be a sucker by not listening to the rest of Kelsie Kimberlin’s discography today.
