Florida’s Peningo Riders release their sophomore single and first single of the year, “Love Ain’t Everything.” The song builds on the Blues/Country/Folk sound of their debut single, “Duck That Jeep.” “Love Ain’t Everything” showcases the group’s versatility as the track is an Americana, Rock masterpiece.

The record dives into the complexities of love, and was ironically and cleverly released on Valentine’s Day. The song examines the post-honeymoon phase. “Love Ain’t Everything” may seem like an anti-love anthem, but the track places emphasis on the need for love while cautioning its alluring grip and constant need of effort. “This track challenges the easy pull of infatuation.” Frontman Eddie Pellon continues, “It delivers the hard truth that love is an enticing starting line, but it’s not the finish line – reminding us that the real work happens after the honeymoon phase fades.”

The raw, gritty jam precedes Peningo Riders’ latest single, “Pawn Shop Guitar.” The budding group is only getting started. They have much more in store. While waiting for what’s next, press play and fall in love with “Love Ain’t Everything.”
