Zachary Mason closes out the summer and kicks off the fall with a new single, “Man of the Universe.” The song continues with the space-related theme of his previous release, “The Martian DJ,” but sonically is more akin to his 5…4…3…2…1… EP. “Man of the Universe” is a cinematic Space Rock, Psychedelic Rock record that pays homage to classic Sci-Fi while proffering a timeless futuristic soundscape.

“Man of the Universe” has a catchy groove that accentuates the clever, imaginative storytelling. Zachary Mason showcases his visionary penmanship and unique, raw vocals on the song. The track details a man that is well-versed about the universe and voyages around the universe adventuring and battling aliens. “It tells a futuristic tale of a man who roams the universe and knows it like the back of his hand, flying about in a powerful spaceship and fighting off aliens and space pirates whilst attracting hordes of female devotees,” Zachary Mason explains.

Zachary Mason enlisted illustrious producer Stuart Epps to produce “Man of the Universe.” The drums, bass, organ, and backing vocals came from the music legend as well. “It was a real privilege to work with a ‘man of the music world’ on ‘Man of the Universe,’” Zachary Mason states.
