Ever since South Korea’s Senior Dunce burst onto the music scene with his debut single, “City Centre,” he has been non-stop with the releases. The Seoul-based music producer unleashes “Bestial.” “Bestial” is a funky House, Dance song that features renowned vocalist Cheshy.
The EDM track has a Disco vibe to it. The bouncy, fun record carries a palpable message within the lyrics. “The lyrics convey a message of acknowledging human limitations and embracing our animalistic nature.” Senior Dunce continues, “It suggests that we have been cruel in the past and still haven’t completely shed our wild instincts, so we shouldn’t be too pained by our flaws, but rather recognize and accept them.”
Senior Dunce also enlisted a previous collaborator, Gimpado, to be a sub-vocalist on “Bestial.” The energetic, groovy sound of “Bestial” is demonstrative of Senior Dunce’s club owner past. The record also has an extended mix that enhances the original’s captivating soundscape. Senior Dunce followed up “Bestial” with a pair of releases, the latest being “Jumal, Pt. 2.” The rising star is just getting started as he has plenty more releases slated for this year and beyond.
