Tampa-based MC Sam E Hues is back with his second single of the year, “God’s Hands.” The budding spitta enlisted GRAMMY-winning rapper Freddie Gibbs for the record. “God’s Hands” is a Hip-Hop head’s delight as the two lyricists flex their lyrical prowess through clever wordplay, vibey flows, and palpable, meaningful lyrics.

“God’s Hands” is all about God’s plan. The vulnerable, motivational jam dives into trusting the process and urges listeners to keep on keeping on. The track touches on various themes, such as faith, gumption, and redemption. “‘God’s Hands’ blends spiritual reflection and street realism – surrendering control and trusting the bigger plan.” Sam E Hues continues, “The song navigates the tension between temptation and faith, survival and redemption – acknowledging the constant presence of darkness while recognizing the unseen forces guiding the path forward.”

The black-and-white music video furthers the theme of the song. The captivating visual has a gritty vibe with faith-based scenery and depictions. Sam E Hues showcased his film chops as he served as the creative director for the music video.
