Singer-songwriter and producer S J Denney follows up his EP, The Long Goodbye EP, with his latest single, “You’ll Be the Death of Me.” “You’ll Be the Death of Me” was S J Denney’s third single of 2025. The poignant, sax-laced Indie song is thought-provoking and resonating.
“You’ll Be the Death of Me” is an anthem that is apropos for the current state of the world. The message of history repeating itself is timeless. “This track reflects my frustration that humanity still fails to learn from its past mistakes.” S J Denney continues, “I wanted to capture the irony that every year we claim that we will never forget, yet the world continues to be torn by unnecessary conflict.”
The emotive song was written, arranged, produced, and engineered by S J Denney himself. The quadruple threat enlisted renowned engineers Mat Leppanen of The Animal Farm (mixing) and Nigel Palmer of Lowland Masters (mastering) to mix and master the record. The heartfelt single is yet another example of the powerful pieces that S J Denney is more than capable of delivering.
