Singer-songwriter and producer Jemerine Chan unveils a vulnerable record, “Let Go.” The song is the songstress’ third single of the year. The single is an emotive Indie Folk/Pop track that allows Jemerine Chan’s soothing, raw, and polished vocals to shine.
“Let Go” is about just that. “Let Go” is a powerful self-worth anthem. The record was bore from a solemn bus ride. “I was heartbroken, listening to an instrumental on the bus and within thirty minutes, the whole song just came out of me,” Jemerine Chan states. The single is an exploration of the process of moving forward, particularly the acceptance phase. “‘Let Go’ explores the quiet difficulty of releasing what no longer serves you, whether in relationships or personal struggles, and embracing that process as a path forward,” Jemerine Chan explains.
